Q: We're waiting... A: Yeah, I know, the promised "Return of the Jack" is overdue. I think I know what the problem is now, though. I've not much left to write about. I'm over the separation, through the depression, around the paranoia, above the guilt and generally in a much better place. While that's great for my mental health, it's not so good for getting material to blog with. And if I've nothing to put on my blog, I don't log on to20six and I don't talk to to other people. I'm working on it. Believe me, I'm working on it. If I can just grab some time online when I don't feel rushed, or stressed, or antisocial. Friday 21st May. I have no excuse for not logging on and spending a good couple of hours of the morning getting my act together: I've got the day off to rest. See you then.

Q: How come you never comment in other peoples' blogs anymore? A: Erm, because, erm, I've been busy? Sorry people. I know I've been bad. Luckily, Valentine's Day is almost upon me, and to keep me away from the big bottle of Christmas Vodka I'm planning to spend as much of the day on the net as possible. Q: This blog got boring! When's Shadow coming back? A: If I have my way, never. I will never trust him again. He's dead and buried. He pushed too far, overstretched himself, and lost. He's gone. He tried to make me slit my wrists for fuck's sake. And he's imaginary. Short of my complete mental breakdown, Shadow will not be returning, not even as a special guest star.

Q: How old are you? A: I was born sometime in 1978, which currently makes me 25. I'm cagey about my actual birthday, partly because I like being anonymous, and partly because my friends have a nasty habit of celebrating my birthday by throwing me 15 feet into the air 20-odd times. HappyJack was born on 29/05/03, or at least that's when I first wrote as two voices. That first piece was an e-mail to a friend (who's not involved in either of my situations) and has never been published. I realised I had fallen in love with Ann sometime around November 2002.
